Fourth Grade Fun!
Lilli and friends from the fourth grade. This school year was a great one for Lilli. Fourth grade at our school is filled with lots of fun, activities, field trips, and work:)
Night of Notables
Mrs. Peter's class put on a wonderful Pioneer play.Grandma, Nicolette, Vivi, and mom were all there. Dad and Ava were there at the first showing.
This was during the play. I love all the costumes:)
Lilli giving her part in the play. The kids were divided into groups and got to rotate through different stations doing different pioneer activities.
There was also, leather molding, dutch oven cooking, pioneer stories, and pie-eating contests.
Fourth grade was a good one...look out fifth grade here she comes:)

Everybody Dance Now
Vivien, Ava and Lilli after the big spring dance recital.
Here is Vivi and her all time best friend. They got to watch all the dancing until it was their turn.
Grandma came to watch...thank you Grandma:)
Vivien was posing for the camera, this is one of a myriad of photos from my Vivi:)
Vivien is a fun dancer. She knows exactly what to do and every move to make. This is Ava on the stage. Ava is such a graceful and beautiful dancer. She is a delight to watch.
Lilli is full of great dancing energy! She has not danced as long as the other girls her age, but she definitely can hold her own:)
Ava after the concert with her flowers.
Lilli after with her flowers.
Of course we had to celebrate the great dancing at B&R:)
Ava picked a chocolate sprinkle cone with lots of mint chip ice cream.
Vivi ate her treat pretty quick and was then feeling very tired!
I even caught her with her eyes shut for a minute:)
She did muster this cute smile in the end:)
Good job dancing girls! Another fun and great performance...I love these little dancing queens.

Details- Aladdin
So, it sounds like my school play post left a little wanting?
The school play was Aladdin and Lilli was a "harem girl". I suppose I was kindly leaving out that detail...ya, anyway, she did a fabulous job:)
This was her last night that she performed the play. She has both sets of grandparents there! A real treat:)

School Play Time!
We were all so excited for the school play to start it's run. Lilli has been practicing since January. I so love to watch her dedication for something that she enjoys so much. She did not miss one practice, practiced at home and gave her entire heart and soul to this play!
We all enjoyed getting to watch her and she did a fabulous job in her part...yea, Lilli. Way to go!Vivien was so excited to get to go up on the stage after the show was over. Perhaps another actress in the family?
Payton and Lilli, in costumes:)

Here lies Goldy
We said goodbye to our first real pet...Goldy the gold fish. He lived a fine life. He was admired by some, loathed by others. He did his part as good as any gold fish could have done.
Doug had the honors of sending Goldy on to another place... Doug was reluctant to any pictures being taken at this time.
I felt we needed the record..."we did have a pet once".I will confess, Goldy sat on the counter covered up with paper towels for a good day and a half. I didn't have it in me to help Goldy "move on" and it's been a busy work week for Doug. Hence, he stayed on the counter...ewww...
The tank is pretty empty now. I really did feel bad that we couldn't keep him alive longer. I told Doug I just can't have pets because I have guilt over Goldy's death. We could have done more... a bigger tank, perhaps? Cleaner water more often? We could of had someone feed him when we had to leave town? I know some of you have witnessed our fish, and he had some neurotic tendancies, but it just helped him fit into our household all the better;)
Let's reflect on Goldy's life for a moment...This is when he was brand new from the July 4th carnival. Lilli was thrilled to have him...me, not so much. Most of the girls couldn't leave him alone, for the first three days...Lexi, not so much.
Here is a cute family picture Ava did at school. Notice she even has Goldy as part of the family!
He really will be missed...by some more than others.
