Easter Was...

awhile ago...oh well, the post is here anyway! Easter really did turn out nice despite our myriad of problems. We were supposed to be visiting my family for our pitiful 2-day spring break, but considering the wicked virus I was still fighting it just was not possible for us to go. Thank goodness for Grandma. She had us over for a very fun Easter. We had a wonderful meal and the kids had a great time with their cousins and grandparents. I did manage to take a few photos:)

Coloring Easter eggs. Vivien is showing her complete annoyance with my photo taking....yea...that's great. anyway, we got to color Easter eggs twice this year! Our first eggs were completely undercooked....a bit of a bummer. The kids were not quite as excited to color eggs the second time around but, they willing did it anyway;)

My wanna be teenager refusing to stand in the traditional "wait your turn" line.

Everyone happy with their Easter basket. (baby still asleep)

Ava headed out for the egg hunt at Grandma's.

Vivien trying hard to find at least one egg.

Kids even venturing out into the flower beds looking for eggs...nothing will stop a true egg hunter...not flowers, dirt, or possibly snow....I am actually surprised there was no snow....considering our fun weather;)

All five girls looking in the same spot...?

Considering the annoying illness. I was not up to church on Easter Sunday....how terribly not Easterish of me...I really was sad to miss. Nicolette got to stay home with me and we had a little photo shoot. She really looked so precious in her dress. She was very sad to not be off to church with the sisters...it's so hard to be the baby. You have to stay home with sicky mom...bummer...

Oh, I love this baby !

She even considered being nice to me after the tantrum was over...I felt pretty lucky:)

Pretty in Pink. You think I would be sick of pink but, I'm not. I still buy it 5 girls later.

Wow...That's All I Can Say...

I have to admit it...I watch...I watch. This guy is so amazing! I am not the hugest idol fan ever, but when it comes to this guy he amazes me more each and every week. I know the David Archuletta fans out there might disagree, but this David Cook is gonna win it! After watching him sing stuff from Phantom of the Opera in the most perfect way I have ever heard it sung...WOW...that's all I can say, WOW:)

Suesical The Musical (Jr. Edition)

Yes...it was a while ago, but the photos are in! (In the blog that is.) Here we are after the first and only performance I got to see. Believe it or not I was coming down with a very wicked virus that had me in bed for a few days:( I am so grateful I got to see what I did. The girls did a fabulous job and we were so proud of them.

I love this photo of Ava and Molly. They are both so happy (which wasn't real common when it came to the play;) I am glad these two had each other for the very long play practices. Ava is showing me her recently lost tooth and both girls have their "who hair" going on...such cute kindergartener's. I can't believe I won't be calling them that for too much longer...first grade is coming too fast!

The cast and crew

posing for pictures. Lilli was the Lorax on her off nights. She did not allow any pictures when she was in her Lorax costume. The girl all the way to the left is in the costume in this picture. Lilli is my never embarrassed go with it girl....but, no picture of Lilli the Lorax? I don't know what's up with that:)

Dad, Grandpa, Grandma and Lilli after the show. We have wonderful grandparents who support our kids in all they do. Thank you:)

Ava's Busy Too...

I realize this was all last month...but...better late than never. (my personal motto I have adopted). Anyway, Ava had a busy month last month it was finally...yes, you guessed it! Her turn to be star student in her kindergarten class! This has been one of her biggest highlights of the year. She got to be first in line all week, sit in the special chair, have her mom come to school and talk about her and...bring a favorite treat! (pink cupcakes of course:) I am sad I didn't get a picture of the cupcakes...they were really cute:)

Here is her poster that we got to share with the class. Ava helped me make it. She is very creative and artistic and it turned out super cute!

Last but not least is...Ava in the school play....she got to be a circus lion and a "who girl". I know she really had fun getting to do the play performing. To be honest all of the rehearsal time almost did her in and I don't know if she will want to be in a play ever again but, all in all it was a good experience. Good job Miss Ava:)

Busy Lilli

Lilli has been busy the last while. She had her 3rd grade Native American program. She got to do a dance "Children of Many Colors". They used these big colorful streamers. It was really fun to watch and all the kids had a speaking part. It was a great program and I know the whole third grade had fun with it.

Grandma and Lilli after the program.

Lilli also earned her "Masters Degree". This is a little something extra her teacher does. The kids all have to option of earning degrees. They just have to do a few extra things throughout the quarter in order to earn the degree. Yeah Lilli!

Lilli got to play Cindy Lou Who in the schools play "Suesical the Musical". The play was really great this year and Lilli really enjoyed getting to play such a fun part! She did an awesome job:)

A Fun Pastime

Oh to be a toddler...the busy work that has to be done! Moving rocks etc... What, moving rocks you might ask? Yes, moving mommy's decorative rocks. These rocks are no longer available for moving. They have been put in a less convenient moving area. What a mean mommy to take away all that fun!

I always say...good thing their cute...it really helps when they are making messes:)

busy...busy...busy...
This is the spot the rocks are moved to? What? What does this all mean? Oh to be inside that very busy little mind...I would love to know what this girl is thinking!

The final accomplishment!
