Oh, I LOVE this baby!

Nicolette is my knight in shining baby! She has brought us so much joy and love we are bursting at the seams. She so wins the prize for best baby. She is happy, fun, sweet, charming, and just the delight of my life! She started to roll over just about a week ago and now can roll across the entire room. She will play for hours on the floor and when I am not looking she will decide to lay down and sleep! It is hilarious! It's just so darn cute I really can hardly even stand it. She is very active and likes to watch all of her sisters
as they run
around her and
try to get her
attention. I am so grateful for this well natured baby. She is a joy to have around!

Let's Go Fly a Kite!

Well, since I am dealing with a blizzard today...I thought it would be fun to think of last week when we had a taste of spring time and kite flying. The weather was great and the girls informed me they wanted to fly a kite. My reply: "We don't have a kite," then I decided I could take the initiative, even though I have pretty much no creative ability. I soon realized my girls could care less about my ability. They had a kite(a piece of paper cut in a really sad triangle with a whole punched in it and a curly ribbon)! Oh, if we could all only be appeased with the simplest of things how much easier life would be.

The Snowman Princess

Lexi told me these would make great pictures to blog. So here they are. A great day in the snow on President's day. Of course, we had to make the snowman or "snow woman" into a princess crown and all! The girls all worked together and I must say did a fabulous job and it was an awesome snowman! And, not even one fight making this one! Yeah!

"Get Your Butt Off My Door!"

Sometimes it takes a while to get settled down for an afternoon nap. Poor Vivien always wants a battle when it's nap time. She sure wins the prize for biggest tantrum
thrower at our house. She always has a few "choice words" for me during the whole tantrum phase. :( . Hence the whole butt and door thing. It takes a lot of body weight to keep that door shut! Anyway, by the time the tantrum is over she is ready to be nice. Oh, we love Vivien!

To Blog or not to Blog

Well, here are my thoughts...(sorry for the ... Doug) anyway,
1. My sister-in-law Joey, in Maine has been blogging for over a year. I love to read her blog and hear how things are going for her all the way in Maine. I have had interest in the blogging because of all her fun stuff.
2. All of a sudden my sister LaRae sends me an e-mail to check out her blog!
3. LaRae mentions her great friend who blogs and that gave her the idea to blog...I have a sneaking suspicion of who this friend might be. I do a search and find that friend~ which leads me to her sister-in laws blog showing pictures of her cute family and husband (who I know all from years ago) is this making sense?
4. I am now totally fascinated with this blogging world and want to join. Also, excited about the idea that this blog could eventually be turned into a book! What a great record.
5. Doug has worked hard to help me set this all up fun and he said I better start blogging and not waste all his work;)

A Little bit Crazy.

Well, poor Doug is working his heart out to help me get this thing looking just about right. I suppose I am being to picky or it's just too late at night. Here I have my own programming pro in my computer seat and giving him a hard time. You really are the best!
